Family Update!!
A lot has gone on this past month. We had the honor of my parents coming down for a visit a couple of weeks ago. I really do miss them so much. We had a great time while they were up. Of course they were excited to see Alissa. We just got her pictures back a couple of weeks ago and they were beautiful. I just love her smile. Of course I did not order enough. We are so blessed with such a wonderful daughter. She means the world to Matt and I. She is already 15 lbs and 25 1/4 in tall. She is already moving around everywhere. She wants to totally skip the whole crawling thing and go straight to walking. She is already pulling up on things. My dad told me it goes by fast. But I thought I would never believe it, until now. She is already 6 months old and saying da-da which is not fair. We are working on ma-ma!! Thanks to everyone for all that you have done for us.
I have a prayer request also. Please keep Matt's grandma, Betty in your prayers. She just had a quadruple heart by-pass on Monday. She is doing well but still in pain.

I just wanted you to know how much Mary and I appreciated your kind words and testimony at our church homecoming this past Sunday. We try to be there for you guys all that we can, but we know that there is no substitute for your own mom and dad. Thank you for being such a wonderful daughter-in-law (the daughter we never had) and for giving us such a wonderful grand-daughter. As the Lord permits and provides, we will always be here for you - and, yes, I'll continue teasing you about salsa and such. We love you!
